Baby Sofia {McKinney Newborn Photography Session}

Sofia was an absolute sweetheart during our McKinney newborn photography session. She slept the entire session, which made posing her a breeze. 11 days young and already a natural behind the camera! You won’t want to miss all the cuteness this session has to offer!

Baby Sofia

Isn’t she stunning?! Her mama requested all things girly for her shoot. I started with a neutral color palette with lots of textures. Then I layered in lace, pearls, florals and dusty rose accents to complete the looks. With her beautiful head of hair, headbands were a must. I had so much fun making moms vision come to life and I couldn’t be happier with the end result! Keep scrolling to see a few favorites from Sofia’s session!

Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photo session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We even have a wardrobe of dresses for mom.

Laura Tye is a newborn, child and family photographer in the north Dallas area. She provides photography services to the areas of Mckinney, Frisco, Little Elm, Plano, Prosper, and the surrounding areas. Booking for newborn sessions is currently open for 2022. WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
