Baby Harper {Prosper Newborn Photography Session}

I was so excited for my Prosper newborn photography session with baby Harper! I’ve photographed her big brothers for years, so I was pumped to meet her. She was so sleepy and smiley throughout her session, which made outfit changes and posing her a breeze. Harper did give us some great wide-eyed shots, too, which is one of my fav photos!

 Mom wanted to keep things neutral, but girly. I pulled mostly creams and grays for her shoot, but added a subtle pop of pale pink florals. Headbands with lace, pearls and bows completed the looks. Keep scrolling to see just a few favorites from Harper’s newborn session!

Are you interested in a Prosper newborn photography session with us? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for mom!

WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
