Baby Carter {Dallas Newborn Photography Session}

I absolutely loved my Dallas newborn photography session with baby Carter! He was such a peaceful sleeper and had the best facial expressions. He even gave us a “surprise, I’m awake” look, which made us all giggle! You won’t want to miss any of the sweet photos from this new family of three!

Meet Carter, a 14 day old dreamboat. Mom and dad had a vision of keeping things neutral for his session. I love a monochromatic look, so I pulled all the creams in multiple textures and started layering! I completed some looks with wooden baskets to add in that extra visual element. Are you interested in a Dallas newborn photography session with us? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a wardrobe of dresses for mom!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
