Baby Camila {McKinney Newborn Photography Session}

My McKinney newborn photography session with baby Camila was so special! I so enjoy getting to witness and capture the love of new families of three, and this family brought all the LOVE! This sweet girl slept through her entire session without a peep, which made for easy transitions for outfit and prop changes.

Meet Camila, just 10 days young and such a sweet baby! Moms request for their newborn session was to keep things neutral, but girly. I pulled my favorite cream sweaters, the palest pink lace blanket and my favorite neutral floral blanket to start. Then I added in more textures (all in creams), a few wooden baskets and frilly headbands to complete each look. Keep scrolling to see all the sweetness from baby Camila’s session!

Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
