Restaurants in Mckinney {McKinney Newborn + Maternity Photography Sessions}

During my newborn and maternity photography sessions, clients are always asking for recommendations of restaurants in Mckinney for their post-session lunch plans. Being a foodie myself, I love to recommend my McKinney favorites which all happen to be close to the studio! Here’s a list of my go-to’s.

The Yard: Situated in the heart of McKinney, this restaurant has indoor dining, patio seating and plenty of space to spread out in the yard; you’re invited to eat, drink and play outside!

The Stix Icehouse: Are you craving great food and old fashion fun? Then come enjoy this come-as-you-are casual experience for family and friends and your furry friends, with live music and tons of games!

Ricks Chophouse: Located in The Grand Hotel (a downtown McKinney staple), enjoy locally sourced food that is described as sophisticated comfort that is steeped in tradition and southern hospitality. They have amazing lunch specials too! It’s a local favorite and must-try!

Spoons:  A Downtown McKinney favorite serving breakfast all-day with favorites like strawberry pancakes and chicken & waffles! You can also enjoy delicious classic comforts like meatloaf or chicken salad, and a collection of fresh soups and salads. They also offer made-from-scratch pies, specialty coffees and cocktails!

Cadillac Pizza:  Bring your family and friends for the best pizza and live music in McKinney! Choose from a long list of gourmet pizzas or build your own. Kids have their own special Caddy menu, too.

Square Burger: In the mood for a variety of burgers, salads and craft beers? Then this casual, family-friendly spot is for you!

WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
