Baby Willa {Frisco Newborn Photography Session}

It was so much fun working with the Miller family again for baby Willa’s newborn session! Not only is her mama the Studio Manager for Laura Tye Photography, but I also got to photograph big brother for his newborns almost five years ago, so it was a full-circle moment! Willa girl was the sleepiest baby and even gave us the cutest grin during her session. You can also see just how smitten big brother is with his new baby in their adorable sibling and family shots!

Meet Willa, 12 days young and cheeks for days! Mom requested pale pinks and moody mauves for this sweet girls session. You know I love a good neutral palette, so I started by pulling whites and creams, the faintest floral blanket and the prettiest pink and mauve wraps. I love to add in texture and tone with baskets and finished off each look with a dainty headband. I had a blast bringing moms vision to life! Are you interested in a Frisco newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
