I absolutely loved working with this sweet new family of four for Baby Ava’s McKinney newborn photography session! This sister duo are already the best of friends and they had me swooning during their photos. Big sister definitely wins for the most cooperative two year old ever! She was so helpful and brought several headbands so she could match her new baby. 😉

Mom and dad wanted to keep things neutral with a hint of whimsy for baby girls session. To bring their vision to life, I pulled my favorite creams and the palest of pinks and added in the most whimsical-looking headbands. Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
