Baby Mary Katherine {Plano Newborn Photography Session}

I still can’t get over my Plano newborn photography session with baby Mary Katherine! This sweet family just happens to be longtime clients (I did big brother’s newborns!). Watching families grow is one of my very favorite parts of my job!

When I heard that baby #2 was a girl, I had the perfect white lace bubble in mind! Since mom wanted her session to be girly with a hint of boho, I knew there had to be some pink sprinkled in, which I used as the main backdrop. It’s not often that I get multiple poses with wide-awake stares, but this gorgeous girl was so alert towards the end of her session! Are you interested in a Plano newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
