Baby Abby {Dallas Newborn Photography Session}

My Dallas newborn photography session with baby Abby was the cutest. At just 11 days old, this little girl was so easy-going and the sleepiest nugget. Posing her was so much fun because she was so relaxed and allowed me to get the perfect hand placements. I also got to capture the sweetest moments between this new family of three!

I love it when parents request unique color schemes for their session! Mom requested a girly neutral color palette, but also wanted to have a pop of pale blue. I pulled a pale peachy-pink wrap and matching knit jumper for a monochromatic look. I have the most perfect robins egg pale blue wrap, which I mixed with a textured white blanket and wooden basket. Are you interested in a Dallas newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
