Baby Briggs {McKinney Newborn Photography Session}

We had so many smiles from baby Briggs at his McKinney newborn photography session! At just 9 days old, Briggs is the happiest + most content baby on the block! Outfit and pose changes didn’t bother him one bit, which made our time together a dream.

We’ve been on a neutral color palette roll over here, and I’m totally fine with that! I pulled my favorite knit hoodie, wraps and textured blankets all in creamy whites. To add visual interest (and to warm it up a bit), I brought in a wooden basket and a woven rug and I completed the look with the tiniest teddy bear. Loving how his gallery turned out! Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
