Baby Luna {Dallas Newborn Photography Session}

My Dallas newborn photography session was a dream with baby Luna! She was the sleepiest little girl and was giving us the cutest baby smirks throughout the morning. She even woke up long enough to give us a few wide-eyed shots, which will take your breath away!

Isn’t she beautiful?! Mom and dad requested pale pink and a deep mauve for Luna’s newborn session, but also wanted to keep things neutral with winter whites. They also had a vision of sprinkling in a little Christmas cheer, since their session was around the holidays! I pulled several different textures in the three color ways, found a few of my favorite holiday blankets and completed the looks with several headbands. Loving how the each look turned out! Are you interested in a Dallas newborn photography session with us? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands!

Laura Tye is a newborn, child and family photographer in the north Dallas area. She provides photography services to the areas of Mckinney, Frisco, Little Elm, Plano, Prosper, and the surrounding areas. Booking for newborn sessions is currently open for 2022. Please contact us here for more information on  availability and session investment.

WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
