Welcome Baby Mila! ~ Mckinney Newborn Photographer

Have I said how much I love my job as a Mckinney newborn photographer? It truly never gets old and never feels like “work”! I so loved meeting this sweet family and their precious baby girl, Mila! She was just perfect for the session and oh so cute with the longest eyelashes!

Mila’s mom requested lots of simple, timeless shots with neutral colors which I absolutely LOVE! Of course we threw in some lace layers and pearl tiebacks too!

About halfway through the session we got a few awake images. Many parents ask about these (and even request them) but they aren’t something we are lucky enough to get at every session! I just love the eye contact we got here! Is she not just the cutest?!

While parent shots aren’t done at every session, I love when moms ask for them! It is so amazing to capture that connection and something I know parents will look back on years from now and cherish!

Interested in a newborn session with us? We always recommend scheduling sessions a few months in advance as we have limited availability each month. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old to ensure they are still sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio and we provide all the wraps, props, outfits, headbands etc so you do not need to buy a thing! WELCOME

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
