Baby Owen {McKinney Newborn Photography Session}

How precious is baby Owen for his McKinney newborn photography session?! This sweet boy did NOT want to sleep for us, but how could you blame him… just look at that face! We did get a couple of sleepy shots when he was snuggled with mom, dad and proud big brothers! 😉

Owen’s parents requested green for his session so I pulled my favorite sage green wraps and blankets. For some contrast, I gathered grays and creams, but kept each color way monochromatic for that timeless look and feel. Lastly, I added in some wood tones with baskets and bowls which finished out each look. Keep scrolling to see the cutest gazes from baby Owen’s newborn session!

Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
