Baby Memphis Jade {Dallas Newborn Photography Session}

My Dallas newborn photography session with baby Memphis Jade had a special visitor, which made the morning so fun! It’s not often that we get fur babies in the studio so when mama requested that their mini golden doodle be a part of the photos, it was an absolute YES! How cute is big brother Ollie with his baby sister?!

Meet Memphis Jade (or MJ for short), 9 days old and the sweetest most cuddly little girl. We kept things timeless with a cream and white color combo, but also a little girly with a moody pink accent. I added in lots of textures, a few props and the daintiest of headbands to finish off each look. Keep scrolling to see some favorites from MJ’s newborn session!

Are you interested in a Dallas newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
