Baby Isla {Plano Newborn Photography Session}

It was such a treat having baby Isla and her family in the studio for her Plano newborn photography session! This sister duo had my heart melting the entire morning. Big sis was so helpful and beyond proud of her new title. It was the cutest thing to witness and I’m so honored I was able to capture these precious moments in time for them! Just wait until you see their sibling photos… you’ll have all the heart eyes, too.

Meet Isla, just 13 days old and already an absolute beauty. Mom wanted light and bright for her newborn session, with a slight nod to the holidays. I pulled my favorite cream and mauve wraps, blankets and headbands to start with and then added the holiday pop with hunter green. I’m obsessed with how sweet Isla’s session turned out! Are you interested in a Plano newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
