Baby Aubrey {McKinney Newborn Photography Session}

I loved having baby Aubrey & family in the studio for her McKinney newborn photography session! This new family of five was a blast and made my morning so special. Baby girl was so good during her session. We got the perfect amount of sleepy and wide-eyed shots for her… she did not want to miss a thing! Can you blame her?! 😉

Meet Aubrey, 12 days old and already the sweetest little soul. Mom wanted to keep things neutral, but girly, and also wanted a pop of color. For the neutral color palette, I pulled my favorite peach and cream wraps and blankets and complimented them with a cream lace outfit and several frilly headbands. I love to mix the neutrals and then add in a few monochromatic looks as well! I went with a vibrant plum for the pop of color, but also added in a muted plum to add visual interest. Are you interested in a McKinney newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
