Baby Kieran {Dallas Newborn Photography Session}

My Dallas Newborn Photography Session with baby Kieran was such a sweet part of my day. I obviously love photographing newborns + babies, but there’s just something special about sibling photos! Big sister was smitten with her new baby and just so, so proud. She talked about him throughout the entire session and it just melted my heart.

Meet Kieran, 10 days old and the sweetest little boy already. Talk about a baby that is go-with-the-flow! He gave us a good mix of sleepy and wide-eyed shots and was loving the camera. I pulled the prettiest sage green wraps, a deep hunter green sweater, a chunky pale blue blanket and tan wraps and blankets for his session. Since it is December, I had to bring out the Christmas plaid! I finished off each look with wooden bowls & baskets and added a teddy bear in some shots. Are you interested in a Dallas newborn photography session? Due to limited availability each month, we recommend scheduling your session a few months in advance. The session ideally takes place when your baby is between 6 and 14 days old; this helps to ensure they are young and sleepy and easy to pose! All newborn sessions are held in our downtown Mckinney photography studio. We provide all the wraps, props, outfits, and headbands! We also have a full wardrobe of dresses for moms!

Hi! I’m Laura! Thank you for visiting my site giving me the consideration of documenting this special time for your family! With over 800 newborns photographed and over 9 years of experience, I can assure you, your little one is in the best hands! Before I was a photographer I was a first grade teacher. I stopped doing that when my oldest son was born and quickly picked up photography as a hobby. Being a first time mom and seeing just how quickly my baby was growing and changing each day I realized the importance of documenting these memories. When they say the days are long but the years are short, that could not be more true! That same baby is almost a teenager now and I am so glad I had photography as a way to freeze that tiny window of time! I once heard someone say that while family photos are important, you can take new ones every year. Newborn photos are a one time thing and once that time is gone you’ll never get it back!
